What you will eat
The Restaurant offers an à la carte menu focusing on traditional Balkan cuisine, with a strong presence of grilled meats. You’ll find different types of meat cooked over a wood fire, such as steaks, sausages, ćevapi and pljeskavica, as well as typical simmered dishes such as peka. If you like fish, you’ll also enjoy an interesting choice with grilled fish, squid and sea bream.

Starters are inspired by regional cuisine, including black risotto and game gnocchi. We found the portions well-balanced and suitable for a full meal. We particularly enjoyed the raw vegetable salad served with hummus and sweet potato falafel, as well as the well-seasoned tomato soup. The focaccia-style bread, which we were served with olive oil, was good.

For dessert, Apple Strudel with custard adds a pleasantly sweet note, though the cream softens the crispness of the puff pastry slightly. Overall, you’ll enjoy a hearty meal, faithful to local flavors, in a simple and generous style.

What you will drink
The drinks menu is varied, with some 30 references including Croatian and international wines. Dalmatian and Istrian vintages are prominently displayed and available by the glass, making food pairing easy. If you want to explore local production, this is a really practical option.

The establishment also offers classic cocktails (Negroni, Margarita…) as well as some house creations and Spritz. We tried the Hugo cocktail, fresh and low in sugar, a pleasant start to the meal. Whether you prefer a glass of regional wine or a light cocktail, you’ll find a drink to match your meal.
