Yes, without hesitation! We were won over by this establishment, which clearly stands out in Split thanks to its bold, resolutely contemporary architecture. Located opposite Plaža Bačvice, it offers the ideal setting to recharge your batteries after a day of sightseeing, with its sleek design and soothing atmosphere. We particularly liked the central atrium, with its geometric lines inspired by Japanese artist Noguchi. Natural light flows in generously, giving the heart of the hotel a unique, refined ambience. If you’re looking for a place that’s both aesthetically pleasing and comfortable, we highly recommend this hotel, perfect for a couple or a family stay in Split. We have fond memories of this elegant yet relaxed address.
Decoration and atmosphere
The Briig Boutique Hotel is distinguished by its refined decor, blending Scandinavian style with contemporary luxury. Natural tones of beige, white and black, combined with wooden furniture, create a sober, elegant atmosphere conducive to relaxation. The vertical atrium, inspired by Japanese artist Noguchi, bathes the central space in natural light thanks to its glass roof opening onto the sky.
On the first floor, the comfortable lounge features pieces of classic mid-20th-century Scandinavian design, while the central bar, clad in fine pebbles, is adorned with sail-shaped light panels. The restaurant floor, composed of 14 different types of marble, offers a unique collage that underlines the bold modern character of the establishment. The overall ambience is elegant and relaxed, in perfect harmony with the surroundings of Plaža Bačvice.
The room
Our room has a sober, elegant atmosphere, with natural tones of beige, white and black. Wooden furniture, hanging lights and long sheers create a cocooning space where you immediately feel relaxed. We appreciated the large window overlooking the greenery, which bathes the room in light, as well as the small opening in the toilet with a direct view of Plaža Bačvice, an original and surprising detail.
Spacious and well thought-out, our room is equipped with a very large, comfortable bed, although the mattress remains a little firm. The desk area is practical for working, and all the amenities – TV, safe, mini-fridge, coffee machine, kettle and home automation to manage lighting and temperature – guarantee a stress-free stay. The overall ambience is calm and enveloping, thanks to good insulation and the absence of overlooking views.
A bottle of mineral water, tea and coffee are provided on arrival. Despite a noise level that can be noticeable depending on the time of day, the whole area is very pleasant and offers a real cocoon in which to relax after a day exploring Split or enjoying the beach.

Our bathroom is spacious and well-appointed, with 2 basins topped by a large mirror. Here you’ll find a single bathtub for relaxing after a day at Plaža Bačvice. The toilet is separate and offers a pleasant view of the sea, an original detail.
Amenities include complimentary toiletries such as soap, shampoo and shower gel, as well as a hairdryer. Towels and bathrobes are of good quality, contributing to a pleasant, well-groomed experience. The entire bathroom is clean and functional, with simple but elegant decor. This attention to detail reflects the standing of this contemporary Split hotel.
The breakfast
Breakfast is served in a relaxed, elegant atmosphere. You’ll find a wide choice of sweet and savory options, featuring local products such as Dalmatian prosciutto. Healthy options, such as chia pudding or homemade granola, are also on offer. We appreciated the careful presentation of the buffet and the elegant tables, making this a particularly pleasant moment.
The setting is an inviting way to start the day before exploring Split. Breakfast is a real plus for travelers who want to make the most of their stay. With its geometric facade evoking a fractured cube, this hotel stands as a unique architectural landmark facing the famous Plaža Bačvice. Its concept enhances the natural beauty of the beach while offering an elegant, relaxed setting. From its vertical atrium, inspired by the Japanese artist Noguchi, natural light illuminates the common areas, reinforcing the refined atmosphere of the establishment.
