What you will eat
Restaurant Fig Split offers a wide variety of à la carte dishes to suit all tastes. You’ll find vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
We particularly enjoyed the chicken curry, a comforting, well-balanced dish in which the warmth of the spices contrasts with the freshness of the cucumber sauce. The crunchy toasted bread was a perfect accompaniment to the dish, adding a nice crunch.

Fresh options include the Gold Pineapple Salad, an original blend of grilled pineapple, kidney beans and feta cheese. For a more gourmet option, let yourself be tempted by the BBQ Burger, available in beef or vegetarian versions, generously topped with local cheese and spiked with garlic mayonnaise.
You’ll have the opportunity to savor modern, creative, local cuisine that respects the seasons and everyone’s food preferences.

What you will drink
The selection of drinks is of the highest quality, especially when it comes to house cocktails. You’ll discover original creations inspired by emblematic Croatian locations, such as the Plitvice Margarita or the Sunset in Split.
Before lunch, we tried the Coconut-Lemon Mocktail, made with coconut and lemon, served in a tall glass beautifully presented with a dried flower. The drink was a refreshing accompaniment to our light meal.

The wine list, though limited, offers choices to match the dishes. You can also enjoy a selection of Croatian wines. We recommend that you let the staff guide you in choosing a food and beverage pairing that will enhance your meal.

The restaurant can only be reached on foot, through the charming cobblestone streets of Diocletian’s Palace. Located in the heart of the pedestrianized historic center, it’s just a few steps from St. Domnius Cathedral and the famous Peristil Square.

Parking
The restaurant has no parking facilities, as it is located in the Diocletian’s Palace, an entirely pedestrian zone. We do not recommend parking in the parking lots at the entrance to the historic area, as they are very expensive. Opt instead for the parking lot at Istarska ul. 4, a 5-minute walk away.
For people with reduced mobility
Access to the restaurant presents a few constraints for people with reduced mobility: a small step is required to reach the inner courtyard, and the cobbled floor can become slippery in wet weather. The toilets are not suitable for wheelchairs. On the other hand, the interior is generally accessible, with good spacing between tables to facilitate circulation. We suggest that you contact the restaurant directly to ensure that it can meet your specific needs, on +385 021 247 399.

The bill
On the budget, expect to pay between €20 and €30 on average for a meal, whether a single course or a starter + main course. A very reasonable price considering the freshness of the ingredients and the generosity of the plates. But what makes the experience even more precious is the unique setting: enjoying a meal within the thousand-year-old walls of Diocletian’s Palace gives the moment a value that goes far beyond mere value for money.
