Is Borik Beach Zadar worth it?
Yes, Zadar’s Plaža Borik is well worth a visit for its tranquil setting and numerous amenities. We found this beach, bordered by a large park with grassy areas, ideal for families or for a cool break in the shade of the pine trees. We particularly appreciated the quality of the very clear water and the low-traffic atmosphere (during our visit in April), perfect for a refreshing swim.
This is one of the best beaches in Zadar!

Type of beach
Sand or no sand?
Borik Beach in Zadar is a combination of small round pebbles and concrete slabs. We recommend that you wear suitable footwear if you have sensitive feet.

Swimming conditions and supervision
The slope is gentle and the water very clear, calm and clean. Waves are very rare, ensuring safe and enjoyable swimming for all ages. The beach is supervised by lifeguards during the summer season. We particularly appreciated the calm atmosphere and the quality of the water for swimming.

Installations
We noted the presence of showers and toilets on site.

Access by car and parking
Plaža Borik is easily reached by car from the center of Zadar. The journey is quick and easy. Parking is available nearby.

Access from the parking lot
From the parking lot, access to the beach is direct and easy. The path is flat and takes just a few minutes on foot, in the middle of a large wooded park, with no stairs or major obstacles. This proximity makes Borik Beach particularly accessible, even with children or beach equipment.

Public transport access
If you take public transport, the nearest stop is “Diklo 2 (A)”, part of the city’s transport network.
