Is Kolovare Beach Zadar worth it?

Yes! We loved its calm setting and crystal-clear waters, ideal for swimming and relaxing. This urban beach features a grove of pine trees providing welcome natural shade. There’s everything you need for a pleasant day: showers, toilets, deckchair hire, children’s play areas, food stalls… We particularly appreciated the family atmosphere.

This is one of Zadar’s best beaches!

Type of beach

Sand or no sand?

Like many Croatian beaches, Kolovaré is not a large expanse of fine sand. Close to the water, you’ll find a stretch of small gravels, a few concrete modules that line the beach and create practical flat surfaces for sitting on, and further back, a pleasant wooded park.
