Its ideal location, between the southern facade of Diocletian’s Palace<\/strong> and the Port of Split<\/strong>, makes it a must-see. Always lively, the promenade regularly hosts events and sometimes even ephemeral markets. <\/p>\n\n

The Promenade Riva Split is definitely worth a visit. Easy to access and pleasant to walk along, it skirts the heart of the city in a lively, friendly atmosphere. We particularly appreciated the view, with the southern facade of Diocletian’s Palace on one side and the port and sea as far as the eye could see on the other. The many caf\u00e9s and restaurants lining the esplanade invite you to take a break and observe local life, while the Riva is also an ideal starting point for boat excursions off the coast of the city. A true meeting place, it is one of Split’s must-see attractions! <\/p>\n\n

During our visit, we particularly appreciated several aspects of the Riva. The view of the southern facade of Diocletian’s Palace is an impressive architectural spectacle that dominates the promenade. The unobstructed view of Split harbour and the Adriatic Sea is simply captivating. Occasionally, a small local market sets up on the Riva, where you can pick up a few handicrafts and typical souvenirs. Last but not least, the evening stroll has a warm, relaxed atmosphere, with soft light and friendly entertainment making the stroll even more enjoyable. <\/p>\n\n
