Opened in 2009 in a modern building designed by Croatian architect <strong>Igor Frani\u0107<\/strong>, it houses a rich collection of contemporary art. Our opinion:<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes, we really enjoyed the Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb. There are several reasons for this:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Firstly, <strong>its modern architecture<\/strong> offers a bright, spacious setting.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Secondly, <strong>its rich collections<\/strong> cover painting, sculpture and photography, as well as multimedia works.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The experience is fluid<\/strong>, with an accessible course and a surprisingly artistic slide to descend between floors.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The museum caters <strong>to art enthusiasts and families alike<\/strong>, with workshops and areas dedicated to children.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In our opinion, it&#8217;s one of Zagreb&#8217;s best attractions.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Croatia\/Zagreb\/Mus&#xE9;e-dArt-Contemporain-MSU\/i-NzcwfFK\/0\/LQ4xRDnSW3xT64JjWtJptLmFwDKdgjv8LFR8zTWCZ\/L\/architecture-front-msu-zagreb-L.jpg\" alt=\"facade contemporary art museum zagreb\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why is Zagreb&#8217;s Museum of Contemporary Art famous?<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb is recognized as Croatia&#8217;s largest and most modern museum of contemporary art. Its outstanding national collection includes works by Jossip Seissel, Carsten H\u00f6ller and Marina Abramovi\u0107. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Opened in 2009 in an innovative building, it regularly hosts committed temporary exhibitions, such as the one by Andreja Kulun\u010di\u0107, which we were able to discover there, focusing on social responsibility. Allow about <strong>1 hour&#8217;s walk<\/strong>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>By car<\/strong>, it&#8217;s obviously quicker, taking around 17 minutes from the city center, with easy access via the A1, A2 and A3 freeways.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The museum is well served by public transport: streetcars 6, 7 and 14, as well as numerous buses (166, 219, 220, 221, 229, 268, 310, 311, 313, 109, 222).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Streetcar and bus stops are nearby.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access by <strong>bicycle<\/strong> is also possible, for those who prefer soft mobility.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The museum is busiest during vernissages and special events (concerts, screenings, etc.), but at other times its vast spaces make it easy to get around.<\/p>\n\n<figure This open-air space also invites relaxation and contemplation.
